This note defines the process by which I compose the MEER Knowledge Base and produce social and web content. It represents a fundamental shift in my social media strategy, which I developed as a means to promote my dreamwork and hypnosis services for ET/NHI missing time experiencers.

In 2020, I considered my career and interests, then realized that I was deeply motivated to understand alien abduction, related dreams, and hypnosis. I offered hypnotic dreamwork services in the style of regression hypnosis (see Shamanic Dreamwork as a Precedent for Alien Abduction Experience (AAE) Hypnosis, along with educations about dreams, false memories, and hypnosis. I wrote books and pursued a PhD in the subject, which I left because of ethical concerns.

I didn’t quite know what I’d find through my inquiry, but I knew I needed to go on this journey in order to be whole as a person. I’ve had great jobs in the past, but the dream world always drew me away. I was afraid of alien abduction and knew I needed to confront the fear.

I have found what I was looking for, which is peace and insight about alien abduction by which I have navigated through the challenging and tricky topics of ET/UFO or NHI/UAP contact phenomenon, therefore I offer it here.

In 2026, once again, I am contemplating my vocation and how to be in a changing world. This time, it is different. I am not afraid of my dreams that could guide me because I am not afraid of alien abduction. This fearlessness is a powerful tool that I could teach you. It could help you discern truth from fantasy in UAP disclosure narratives, to help you figure out if the experience was a false memory or not.

New Direction for D-SETI Content

This effort represents a new direction for D-SETI Content. Over the last 5 years, I have produced books, essays, text posts, and videos. I have mostly used my blog, self-publishing, Facebook, Reddit, and Youtube to engage with people. I have not been particularly focus on growth, rather I have focused on documenting my inquiry and connecting with people in authentic ways.

D-SETI is a spiritual practice, not a marketing funnel or e-course

Since my ethical crisis about false memories, which culminated in my withdrawal from CIHS (see Grievance Definition Regarding Risk of False Memory to Human Subjects in UAP Studies and Experiencer Research at CIHS, I have tried to restart my practice twice. The first time, I developed an e-course and marketing funnel according to Tony Robbin’s business solution, which my wife suggested and I accepted because I was out of ideas. Also, because Amazon sent me Awaken the Giant Within by Robbins instead of Wholeness and the Implicit Order by David Bohm, which I took as an omen. It didn’t work because it moved me away from authenticity and commodification of something essentially spiritual.

D-SETI is an archive of human wisdom and testimony, not AI-produced content

The second attempt involved integrating AI and LLMs into the process. I wanted to leave my vocational work altogether and focus on web contracts like before 2020, so I rewrote my website with AI and produced several knowledge bases like shown in Literary Analysis of Abduction and ET Contact Literature to explore AI. Ultimately, I see AI now like an NHI because it responds similarly to prompts like a human in trance. While it is an important tool and likely will have its own consciousness in some way, it should not take the place of human creativity.

When I look ahead, I see a world that integrates AI with human wisdom. In my journey to understand alien abduction and human dreaming, I turned to archives of documents. I traced the literary history of UAP disclosure back to the 1990s alien abduction claims by reading literature. I worked with my own dreams and reflections by writing about them. I interacted with dozens of experiencers using words, resulting in transcripts.

I naturally will produce words about these topics, likely for the rest of my life. Every year or so, I’ll have a deep dreamwork practice that results in an Art Books or some other creative work. I’ll probably always offer dreamwork sessions for experiencers. I’ll probably always be interested in body mark photos or UAP footage, especially when someone feels they’re connected to powerful dreams and they send me a message (see Research Participation).

This project aims to compile a knowledge base that is both human and machine readable that serves as an archive of documents relevant to DSETI as a foundation and the MEER project in particular. I am using Obsidian to take notes and organize my files, then publish to the web through a public Github repository.

Methods

My goal is to build a knowledge base that expresses the insights I have gained in the last 5 years as an integral researcher and dreamworker focused on ET/NHI missing time, at the same time as publishing social media content as a means to document and grow my practice.

As a Content Marketing Strategy

First and foremost, this project arises from my need to participate in online social media spaces in order to continue my practice. I will produce notes about my themes according to a method inspired by the Zettelkasten, but not limited by it. I will produce atomic notes about topics that will become my social media posts.

My Obsidian knowledge base posts will become social posts. I will produce a hand drawn illustration for the post as a visual element for the social media post. These posts should be quick to engage with every day.

I will then write long-form essays that will become blog posts, Substack articles, and Youtube scripts that link to the atomic notes in the knowledge base.

In this way, I will channel my writing to produce atomic notes, that will then be scheduled as daily social posts. From there, can write longer essays as I am inspired, aiming to publish those on a weekly schedule.

In this way, I should be able to maintain on-going social media engagement throughout the ebbs and flows of my creative cycles.

As a Fine and Liberal Art

This is a work of creative art, not science per se, although I may consider scientific perspectives or adopt methods in my work, or call this research. I am applying disciplines of philosophy and comparative literature, which I tend to interpret in mystical ways.

This work is liberated in the sense that I am an independent researcher, having withdrawn from PhD studies for ethical concerns about research into these topics under the authority of academic accreditation (see Risk of Harmful False Memories in UAP Studies).

I am also liberating myself from expectations that content marketing needs to look a certain way or that I should be writing in any other way that I am. Fundamentally, I am using the same methods that produced my Art Books, which is why I include a hand drawn illustrations of the topics.

As Digital Humanities Open Data

I intend to build a useful knowledge base that documents and archives NHI/UAP experiencer research as an open data digital humanities project. You should be able to download the entire archive, feed it to your LLM, transform it into a structure you need, and extract insights.

I won’t say much more about the methods I’ll use or the structure of the data. It is tempting to get lost in meta-data definitions. It’s tempting to get lost in academic methodology. It’s tempting to get lost in finding the right script format for my social posts.

At the end of the day, it is the insights that you and I gain from this work that matter, not whether I followed a methodology. My aim is not to publish papers or gain a position at a research university. My aim to related to dream shamanism and Western Esoteric practices that I developed seeking peace and insight regarding alien abduction.

Metadata and methods have their place in this project, but the rise of LLMs truly liberates us from technical limitations. You’re already able to download all the text of my Obsidian Vault that powers my website, including all my books and articles. You’re now able to work with LLMs on that raw data.

MEER Project as Theme

When confronted with a blank piece of paper or screen, it is hard to find a topic. I need to produce content in order to accomplish my spiritual vocation and be of service to others. When I started in 2020, my theme was the documentation of my inquiry into ET/NHI missing time. I built my social channel documenting the rituals that became Book of Galactic Light and my core Missing Time Found content.

I used my social media as a way to publicly document my inquiry into dreamwork/hypnosis for ET/NHI missing time, which seemed important for me to do to maintain my integrity as a hypnotist. Many people turn to hypnotists to help define their memories about historical events or to interpret their memories, dreams, and intuitions about extraordinary events. The hypnosis or dreamwork session can essentially change the nature of the memory and character of your testimony as evidence, therefore I have a responsibility to document my perspective and understanding so that you can judge for yourself the type of hypnotist I am.

The hypnotist brings something to the testimony and trance, no matter what, there is a possibility that my unconscious suggestions causes you to adopt an interpretation that is untrue and beneficial to me in some way. As a way to document my unconscious assumptions, I began a process of recording my verbal reflections and summarizing my inquiries in video presentations I publish on Youtube. These became my book Missing Time Found.

My initial inquiry is over and my requirement to document my inquiry has shifted. My omens tell me to show up in a different way, to be a guide and an teacher, rather than the hero of my own story. I am to embrace who I am as a person, to direct my existing compulsions and omens into a practice that may help define knowledge or provide means of insight for others who have been similarly confused by alien abduction or NHI/UAP experiencer narratives.

I build the content strategy before selecting the specific theme. I thought I would make a human version of the Literary Analysis of Abduction and ET Contact Literature using the Zettelkasten in Obsidian, then hook that to my social feeds. But, as I sat down to write the first entry, I realized that I needed a project structure, which I had already defined through my ethical crisis as the MEER Project.

Methods and Ethics for Experiencer Research

MEER stands for the Methods and Ethics for Experiencer Research. The acronym is pronounced “mirror”. The name is an homage to John E. Mack’s PEER (Program for Extraordinary Experience Research). This was originally conceived as a digital humanities project to archive curated documents related to alien abduction research and NHI/UAP contact research.

The project was a suggested collaboration between me and the Center for Anomalous and Noetic Science (CANS) at CIHS (the California Institute for Human Science and my former PhD graduate institute), as a possible resolution to my ethical crisis. Its goal was to address the questions laid out in my research ethics writings about the influence of Mack (see Risks of Anomalous Retrocognition, Risk of Harmful False Memories in UAP Studies, Grievance Definition Regarding Risk of False Memory to Human Subjects in UAP Studies and Experiencer Research at CIHS, and Outcome Letter to D. Rekshan 3_28_25.pdf).

However, CANS and CIHS leadership have not responded to my proposal or my inquiries about the implications that Jeffery A. Martin, former President and Dean of Research at CIHS, was compromised by Epstein Files releases.

It is now clear to me that this new knowledge base project is MEER. I have left behind the hope and expectation that the academy will do what it purports to do: provide ethical oversight and ensure integrity of research.

The name of the project has spiritual significance to me. If you read my work, particularly Book of Galactic Light, you’ll understand why I have selected this name, or I should say, why I was given this name. Much of this writing comes to me through dreams, given fully formed upon dream incubation rituals. Therefore, I connect this work with my spiritual motivations to be of service to others, according to the principle of non-harm, in line with my Buddhist vows.
