DRAFT: This is a WORK IN PROGRESS.

This note outlines the writing project that is the current focus of D-SETI Dreamwork and my research and writing activities.

If you found yourself here, you may be have a interest in anomalous geometric body marks or ET/NHI/UFO/UAP contact phenomenon because of your own body mark, experience, research.

Introduction

It has been over two years since I wrote Galethog the Grey’s Field Guide to Anomalous Geometry and the D-SETI Research Institute Proposal, which completed the D-SETI Quadrilogy of books. I printed off three sets of books, one for myself and two for the original major funders of 1990s alien abduction research. I sent one set to Robert Bigelow, but entered an ethical crisis about harmful false memories.

The ethical crisis culminated with writing Risks of Anomalous Retrocognition in 10 days, then driving to Sale Mountain for a CE-5 with Dan Berg and presented him the four books I wrote because we had a CE-5 a few years earlier at that spot. I had the only Deep Meditative Trance I’ve experienced in two decades, during which I practice lucid dreaming techniques I had practiced all summer (documented in my book Liber Visionorum Xenomanticarum).

At that moment, I had been reading Eric Wargo’s work on precognitive dreaming and time loops, which involve perceptions of the futures in the present that create the specific conditions necessary for that future to occur. It forced to me to consider the possibility that I, somehow, was the alien. That moment was the height or depth of my crisis about false memories. I came back home to move every 6 months since then, trying to find stability or make sense of it all.

I was frozen in my public writing because I looked to other people as ethical authorities whose voice matters to my research and practice. I wanted to write my next book as a dissertation at the California Institute for Human Sciences in the Integral Noetic Science program, but raised official ethical concerns that were officially ignored (see Grievance Definition Regarding Risk of False Memory to Human Subjects in UAP Studies and Experiencer Research at CIHS and Outcome Letter to D. Rekshan 3_28_25.pdf). The Epstein File releases of early 2026 document the ethical compromise of key CIHS faculty, which vindicated my ethical intuition but indicates a systemic issue within academia.

The Field Log of Anomalous Geometry will be what I hoped that dissertation would be. It is the direct sequel to Field Guide to Anomalous Geometry, in which I examined anomalous body marks as evidence for alien abduction and NHI contact narratives and as potential SETI style signals. The Field Guide is the sequel to Missing Time Found, which lays out the shamanic dreaming hypothesis of ET/NHI missing time. That book came up because I was running an online space called Cosmic Dream Sanctuary, which was defined in the end of Book of Galactic Light that itself was a continuation of a dream-based inquiry I made around 2012 into ET/NHI contact in the life and work of John Dee.

Topics of Interest

Anomalous body marks integrate subjective testimony and objective evidence

I am interested in body marks because they are both objective and subjective events. They were used in the 1990s as supporting evidence for the UFO Abduction Syndrome. Anomalous body marks are often the only evidence an experiencers has that their experience in physical. However, they do not prove narratives of ET/NHI contact. Unless, one could demonstrate that marks from disconnected people constitute a message. What if each body mark was a letter in a larger message? Of course, we could then wonder if the connection in the deduced message had enough retrocausal power to induce the false memories of alien or NHI encounters that drove the experiencers to post their reports or seek interpretation.

My essay The Boundaries Between Quadrants explores how Integral Studies informs my body mark inquiry.

Geometric body marks could be SETI style signals

I am interested in anomalous geometric body marks associated with dream, trance, or waking encounters with entities typically called alien, angel, spirits, NHI, daemons, or whatever you experienced. Most of the marks I look at now are from people who remember dreams or encounters, who have some sort of spiritual practice, and who thinks that these are omens or messages as well. Most are from people who feel compelled by the strangeness, paranormality, or mystery of the event to testify to its unexplained yet significant nature.

My essay Geometry as Communication with Nonhuman Intelligences explores how anomalous geometric body marks may constitute a SETI style signal from NHIs.

Body mark interpretation as a religious practice

In researching early precedents for alien abduction marks, I encountered literature related to witch craft from perhaps 1500s onward. There was an active tradition of priests and legal people cataloging and debating body marks as evidence of witchcraft, for instance under the presumption that a devil would drink the blood of a witch and leave a mark.

While I have not encountered a medical article specifically about dream induction of body marks, I have encountered sufficient anecdotes that the body can psycho-somatically produce marks that correspond to dream content that I believe it is a solid hypothesis. If that is the case, then these marks may relate to the more spiritual or numinous aspects of dreaming. If these marks are caused by a psycho-somatic dream phenomenon, what else would account for their similarity beside the idea of a real world and entities accessed through dreaming, a world we might have once called spirit?

I am personally turning to dream shamanism and Western esoteric traditions like Enochian magic or mystical Platonism as a religious/spiritual frameworks to guide my journey.

Body mark research as an ethics laboratory

I am interested in body mark research as a thought experiment and ethics laboratory. I am particularly interested in alien abduction and NHI encounter narratives, which are associated with hypnosis. My false memory literature review tells me that researchers often induce false memories through suggestive dream interpretation and that hypnosis can create powerful false memories.

This endeavor seems complex from an ethical perspective. It involves using hypnosis to aid dream interpretation of a dream that corresponded with an anomalous geometric body mark that they hypnotist says might be evidence of ET/NHI contact or part of a greater message.

I am primarily resolving my ethical risks by the facts:

  • I am an independent researcher (withdraw from CIHS)
  • I am trained in hypnosis as a psycho-spiritual modality (Depth Hypnosis and BQH)
  • My creative writing practice directly arises from my dream practice and observation of omens, understanding that life is a dream
  • This work is declared to be a creative dreamwork, following ethical guidelines defined by the International Association of the Study of Dreams
  • This work will be published under a Creative Commons license through a public GitHub repository as Citizen Science Open Data

Methods

My methods are based in Integral Studies, Transpersonal Psychology, Creative Dreamwork, and Western Liberal Arts. My methods are not scientific. While I may produce quantitative data, this work is about the integration of qualitative and quantitative data. I am interested in writing another book about dreams and body marks as omens, particularly as shamanic callings. I am not interested in proving the existence of any one hypothesis. In other words, I will expand and scale the scope of my case studies database from the few dozen in Field Guide to Anomalous Geometry to all public reports published on the internet and any sent to me.

Case Studies

The book will involve case studies contextualized by an open database of body marks and dreams. The case studies will be selected according to my dream guidance, synchronicity, and omen. For example, I received a series of inquiries while drafting a new essay Geometric Body Marks and D-SETI.

Case studies will archive photos of the mark and reports about the experience. I will analyze the geometry according to my methods (defined in Field Guide to Anomalous Geometry), then compare with the body mark catalog, and write up my observations.

Open Database

The open database will catalog all public social media posts about several types of body marks, dreams, and encounter phenomenon. It will be assembled by me as an Obsidian project like this website, which produces machine and human readable datasets in one set (I’m using it to power this website).

Privacy

Most of the experiencers I work with share their story as testimony of their encounters, much like a Christian may testify to their angel encounter, and therefore may ask that their name be associated with their story. In all other cases, I use pseudonyms that either I or the experiencer selects.

I request permission to publish testimony that is not already public, with varying levels of documentation. For example, all my experiencers in Missing Time Found signed release forms, but I analyzed some already public cases in Field Guide that I didn’t ask permission and I just asked some experiencers for their permission in the emails or messages they sent me their message.

I have now established a rule that I catalog only public cases or cases with permission. For example, if you post on a public subreddit, I will archive your post and analyze it without explicit permission. However, if you post on the Red Grid Mark Experiencer and Researcher Facebook Group, where I’m a moderator, I will not use your story you give me permission.

Book Draft as Social Content

All of my DSETI books came from content I published on social media. I started the practice with the Book of Galactic Light, which is mostly the transcription of a visionary journey that I dictated then published Youtube as a way to promote my dreamwork/hypnosis practice. I used my social media content as a way to document my inquiry and practice, which I felt was important as a hypnotist. Hypnosis is non-dual, which means I influence my clients no matter what method I use, so I might as well just document who I am, what I believe, and what I’m thinking about now so that you can judge whether or not you trust me in your psyche.

My book Missing Time Found happened because I wanted to double check my understanding of regression hypnosis and dreamwork when my client Sandra Newman released her regression on Robert Earl White’s Youtube channel. When I completed the draft content for the book, I had a series of strange dreams then I discovered an anomalous geometric body mark that inspired the Youtube series The Universal Language that became the Field Guide to Anomalous Geometry and thus this book.

I will produce a series of content for this website and my various social media platform that will explore and draft the content of this new book.
