A short guide to the new vision behind the project
DSETI stands for Dream Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. It is a simple idea. Instead of pointing telescopes outward, we explore inward through dreams, symbolic communication, and the meaning embedded in human experience.
This new phase marks a clear shift. DSETI has been rebuilt from the ground up with a focus on minimalism, clarity, and the integration of my dreamwork practice with my background in software engineering, NLP, and knowledge systems design.
Why this phase represents a shift
Over the last several years I stepped away from my tech career to work more directly with dreams, hypnosis, and experiencer support. During that time I learned how essential clarity is, especially after encountering communication challenges in my doctoral program related to hyperlexic over explaining. That experience shaped the new symbolic identity of DSETI and the minimalist design you see across the site.
The new phase integrates:

- symbolic communication
- AI supported analysis
- meaning extraction
- grounded experiencer research
- systems for organizing dreams and claims
A new symbolic identity
The new DSETI logo is minimal and expressive. A head. A listening arc. A horizon and signal. It avoids referencing older projects and instead communicates directly through shared symbolic vocabulary. This reflects DSETI’s mission to explore dreams as a form of listening and meaning making.
Integrating my tech and dream history
For many years, my dreamwork practice and software career lived in separate worlds. Now they are integrated. My background includes:
- full stack development
- data visualization
- dreamwork and trance methods
- NLP supported research
- knowledge base design
- dream analysis tools
DSETI now unifies these paths in a clean structure that supports both personal exploration and professional collaboration.
