About Daniel Rekshan & D-SETI
I am Daniel Rekshan—an integral researcher, developer, and dreamworker dedicated to mapping the intersection of human consciousness and nonhuman intelligence (NHI). As a neurodivergent, hyperlexic thinker and a lifelong experiencer of missing time and unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), my vocation is to transform our cultural understanding of these encounters from narratives of victimization into declarations of human dignity and creative partnership.
Biography
My professional and academic background is a synthesis of technical expertise and deep psychospiritual inquiry. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Liberal Arts from St. John’s College and a Master of Arts in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Before dedicating myself fully to D-SETI, I spent a decade in the technology sector, leading data visualization teams for government and non-profit clients and architecting social engagement systems for startups like Goodreads. I have also been trained and certified in the spiritual counseling modalities of Depth Hypnosis and Beyond Quantum Healing.
My personal journey with this phenomenon began as a child when I witnessed a light being approach my home. Later, I experienced a significant missing time event shared with my twin brother. For years, I struggled with the “ontological shock” of these events because the only available cultural framework was the terrifying narrative of physical alien abduction.
While I previously pursued a PhD in Integral Noetic Sciences at the California Institute for Human Science, I chose to leave the program to address a profound ethical impasse. My research into the 1990s legacy of the “UFO Abduction Syndrome” revealed a grave risk of harmful false memories generated by coercive forensic regression. I am now dedicated to addressing these ethical concerns institutionalizing the safety and dignity of the experiencer.
About D-SETI
D-SETI (The Dream Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) is a research initiative that extends the mission of SETI into the non-local mind. While traditional SETI focuses on physical signals limited by the speed of light, D-SETI recognizes that the distributed network of human dreaming is a primary medium for contact.
The Shamanic Dreaming Hypothesis
The foundation of D-SETI is the Shamanic Dreaming Hypothesis. This theory argues that unremembered REM dreaming is the only natural precedent for ET/NHI-associated missing time. We posit that the entities involved are dream shamans capable of generating and controlling shared dream experiences, manifesting physically as “structured light” (orbs) and psychically within the collective unconscious.
Our Mission & Methods
D-SETI seeks to move beyond the legacy of 1990s abduction studies, which often confused psychical experiences for physical kidnapping and inadvertently created a decentralized industry of traumatic false memories. We accomplish our mission through:
- Citizen Science: Collecting and analyzing dream reports to identify patterns of contact at scale.
- Geometric SETI: Applying Euclidean Constructive Geometry to identify intelligent signals in UAP formations and anomalous body marks.
- Operationalized Psionic Dreaming: Using lucid dream intention and remote viewing techniques to explore consciousness and initiate ethical contact.
- Professional Interlocution: Offering a structured Dreamwork Journey that replaces forensic pressure with safe, symbolic exploration to resolve ontological shock and facilitate telepathic communication.
There is no such thing as missing time—only yet unremembered dreams. D-SETI is the path to remembering our place in a larger, interstellar community.
