Hi, I’m Daniel Rekshan. I’m the founder of D-SETI. I’m classically educated in the Western Liberal Arts from St. John’s College, have an MA in East-West Psychology, and have training in Depth Hypnosis and Beyond Quantum Healing. I offer hypnosis and dreamwork services for experiencers of ET/NHI contact and missing time, presenting shamanic dreamwork as an alternative to the recovered traumatic memory framework behind alien abduction narratives.
I have spent my life wresting with issues about alien abduction, false memories, hypnosis, and unexplained dream phenomena. I grew up in the 1990s and had powerful lucid dreams and nightmares that I associated with alien abduction, which secretly inspired my academic and professional interests until 2020 when I began my dreamwork practice. I pursued a PhD based in Integral Studies about ET/NHI contact in dreams until I became overwhelmed by ethical concerns about the contemporary UAP Disclosure narratives that framed my department.
I’ve gone through the pendulum swing of alien abduction belief to deep skepticism and I still believe there is a real phenomenon that is unexplained by science. The phenomenon involves dreams that feel ultra-real, involve entities, and are correlated with mysterious lights that appear physical by all accounts.
D-SETI for me is now a spiritual practice involving academic discipline and integral studies, but is no longer academic or even scientific. I want to provide the education about alien/NHI research, hypnosis, and their alternatives that I wish I had in making sense of my own dreams. I spent 20 years thinking that my natural, yet not understood, dreams could be evidence of alien abduction. In reality, they were a shamanic calling that I resolved through trance work similar to memory retrieval.
A note on voice and AI
I’ve explored using AI with my websites and content production. I believe it is a powerful tool, but should not take the place of an authentic voice. I now see that authentic human voices, which are messy and are way more than just sources for marketing copy, are needed now more than ever. I have written all my books by hand and am writing my scripts and copy without the intervention of an LLM. I experimented with AI in content production for D-SETI and it looks slick, but doesn’t perform as well.
