ET/NHI Contact is Dreamlike
ET/NHI contact is dreamlike and it often happens during sleep and dream time. People think of it like a dream and are often confused if it was a dream or if it was real.
Things can be dreamlike, real, and non-physical all at the same time. Saying something is like a dream isn't saying that its not real. Defining something as dreamlike just invites you to understand it in mythic way, not logical ways.

Involves bizarre beings and strange events
Both dreams and ET/NHI contact involves extraordinary beings and strange events
ET/NHI contact obviously involves bizarre beings and strange events. It's important to note that the researchers use the same exact characteristics to define bizarreness in REM dreams as they use to define high strangeness in ET/NHI contact events.
When we look to shamanic or polyphasic dreaming cultures, we see that they respect the reality of the entities in dreams.

Generally positive and not psychopathy
ET/NHI contact is generally positive and not associated with psychopathology
The FREE survey of over 4k+ experiencers reveals that around 66% of people view their contact as positive, 29% as neutral, and only 5% as negative.
Dr. John Mack, then head of Harvard Psychiatry and pioneer abduction researcher, found that most experiencers had no signs of psychopathy.
In the APA published book, The Varieties of Anomalous Experiences, the authors indicate that
Many thousands of Americans have an AAE [alien abduction experiences], and this experience, as "nonordinary" as it appears to be, does not typically imply psychopathology.

Similar messages of ecological responsibility
Both dreams and ET/NHI contact involve dramatic messages of ecological responsibility
Dreams traditionally mediate human relationships with the natural world. Polyphasic and shamanic dreaming cultures can literally map their world through dreaming and they receive messages regarding ecological changes, such as the movement of animals or warnings of impending climate change.
A significant percent of ET/NHI experiences involve messages and visions of catastrophe that inspire greater ecological responsibility.

Responds to mindfulness and intention
Dreams and ET/NHI contact respond to mindfulness and intention in the same way
When you start to work with your dreams, you might have to deal with a lot of repressed feelings or memories. You might have recurrent dreams or nightmares that are hard to make sense of. However, when you apply mindfulness and intention, you can remember your dreams and their qualities shift.
ET/NHI contact also responds to mindfulness and intention, which appears to shift unwanted experience and increases recall of the events. When people engage with ET/NHI contact on an on-going basis, their lifestyle shifts towards increases of insight, empathy, and ecological responsibility.
